These terms apply when you use Ace Hired, a site built, owned, and maintained by Vikas Dulgunde (a software engineer based in London, UK). By using the site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
The service
Ace Hired is a free, ad-supported site offering interview questions, salary data, resume templates, and career tools. There is no paid tier, no account, and no contract between us beyond your visit.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any defects will be corrected. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
What we don't guarantee
We do not guarantee that using Ace Hired will help you get an interview, pass an interview, receive an offer, or negotiate a better salary. We provide tools and information; outcomes depend on you, the employer, and many factors outside our control.
Interview questions: accuracy
Interview questions on Ace Hired come from two sources:
- Reported by candidates. Questions that real candidates have told us they were asked.
- Synthesised. Questions we have written based on common patterns for a given role and company. These are clearly tagged "Synthesised" so you can tell them apart from reported ones.
We do our best to verify reported questions, but interview content changes constantly and we cannot guarantee that any specific question will still be asked, or asked in the same form. Treat our questions as preparation, not a script. If a company's interview process matters to you, verify the format directly with their recruiter.
No professional advice
Career, salary, and interview content on Ace Hired is informational. It is not legal, financial, medical, tax, or immigration advice. Salary data is aggregated from public and self-reported sources; it should not be relied on for individual contract decisions without independent verification.

Third-party links
Ace Hired contains links to third-party websites, including affiliate partners. We do not control these sites and are not responsible for their content, terms, or privacy practices. When you click through to a third-party site, your relationship is with them, governed by their terms. Our affiliate disclosure explains which links earn us a commission.
Acceptable use
Don't:
- Scrape the site at a rate that disrupts service for others
- Republish substantial portions of our content without permission
- Use the site to harass other users, our partners, or our team
- Submit false interview reports or attempt to manipulate our data
- Reverse-engineer or attempt to gain unauthorised access to our infrastructure
We may suspend or block access for breach of these terms, with or without notice.
Intellectual property
Content on Ace Hired (text, layouts, original imagery, the question database structure, salary aggregations, branding) is copyright Ace Hired unless otherwise marked. You may quote short excerpts with attribution and a link back, in the normal way.
Some site code is built on open-source libraries. Where we use components under permissive licences (e.g. shadcn/ui under MIT, Magic UI under MIT), those licences apply to the components themselves. Our own application code is not currently open-sourced.

If you subscribe to our newsletter, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. Subscription is governed by the same privacy policy as the rest of the site.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ace Hired, its operator, and its contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the site, including lost profits, lost opportunities, or loss of data. Our total aggregate liability for any direct damages is limited to GBP 100 or the amount you paid to use the site in the preceding 12 months, whichever is greater. (You haven't paid anything; the site is free.)
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except that consumers may also bring proceedings in the courts of their country of residence as required by mandatory consumer protection law.
Termination
We can suspend or remove access to the site at any time, including for breach of these terms or for operational reasons. The disclaimers, IP, and liability sections survive termination.
Changes to these terms
If we make a material change to these terms, we will update the lastUpdated date and post a notice on the homepage. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
